QualityBIM Partner ARGE und BDH mit über 100 namhafte Industriemitglieder im TGA Bereich

About us

The QualityBIM Community was created by the ARGE and the BDH to provide effective support for BIM planners. Both associations bring together over 100 well-known industry members in the TGA sector and use this platform to jointly develop solutions for the challenges of BIM processes.

ARGE Neue Medien

ARGE Neue Medien is an association of more than 100 brand manufacturers in the building services industry. It organises the quality management of product data and the standardisation of national and international data formats for its member companies. The most important instrument for data distribution is building-masterdata.com.

Increasing productivity and efficiency

We are committed to increasing productivity and efficiency in the building technology sector when supporting its customers and market partners. By standardising, digitalising, automating and focusing on new processes, we help our target groups to conserve resources – in Germany and other European countries. To this end, we develop attractive services and valuable business models. In addition to providing the specialist sector with high-quality data and efficient processes, we also focus on other important target groups.

Internationalisation

We are also driving forward internationalisation. We build sustainable partnerships based on our industry-, data- and policy expertise.

Federal Association of the German Heating Industry

The Federal Association of the German Heating Industry (BDH) has been bringing together manufacturers of heating technology systems and components since 1984. The product range includes heating systems with outputs from 4 kW to 36 MW, burners, combustion technology components, radiators, panel heating, panel cooling, systems for utilising renewable energies, ventilation systems, controls and flue gas systems.

BDH member companies offer complete system solutions for the building sector, focussing on heat generation, heat distribution and heat transfer as well as hot water preparation based on gas, oil, electricity and renewable energies. BDH member companies are increasingly involved in the networking of all energy-related products in buildings.

In contrast to traditional smart home approaches, the largest energy consumption sector in the building, the heating system, forms the centre of such networks. In contrast to HEMS, Home Energy Management Systems, the energy flows in the building are controlled and optimised. This offers significant efficiency benefits. Buildings produce part of their own energy requirements, and there are also thermal and electrical storage options. The expected growth in e-mobility will increase the importance of HEMS.

Partners

Among the data suppliers that have been permanently serving the platform since the start of the project are 22 manufacturers. The community is open to other associations, industrial companies and software houses.

Association membership is not required for participation. The more partners support the project, the greater the added value of the platform for everyone involved – especially for the manufacturers’ market partners. More information is available directly from the ARGE and the BDH as well as from the project management.
